Conceptual illustration artwork for Pity Cradle's debut album, Famine. The aim was to craft a simple yet striking visual that captures the tone and messaging from the music within. I wanted to strike a balance between grit and elegance. An emblem was also created to represent the band's name.
Pity Cradle is a dark experimental outfit who's music is hard to define in words. Angry? Sad? Manic? Melancholic? Yes to all.
